Touching on the key concerns, the 3rd edition of Security India 2011 Conference held at Shangri-La’s-Eros Hotel on July 7, 2011 concluded on a highly successful note with plenty of learnings and thoughts carried back by the conference delegates.
The conference attracted distinguished speakers and knowledge experts including Mr Rajiv Mathur, Former Director –Intelligence Bureau, Govt. of India who delivered the Keynote Address during the innaugration, Dr Gulshan Rai, Director General (CERT-In, & Group Coordinator – E- Security & Cyber Law Division, Ministry of Communications& Information Technology, Govt. of India) who addressed the Valedictory Remark and Dr. Nirmaljeet Singh Kalsi, IAS, Joint Secretary – Police II, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
PricewaterhouseCoopers supported the conference as Knowledge Partner and presented an Industry White Paper Report.
In continuation of our efforts to facilitate development of homeland and institutional security, the conference established a large August- gathering of quality technology providers, solution users, corporates and enterprises.
In the Changing Landscape of Security and Surveillance, the 3rd edition of Security India 2011 Conference focused on the merging role of physical and information security and its integration with data analytics and enforcement agencies. Discussions hovered around leveraging technology as an enabler for tighter surveillance, and for the need of an integrated business solution.
