Dr. Sanjay Sarin is a PhD from Postgraduate Medical Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. He has close to 15 years of experience in laboratory operations and has numerous publications in national and international journals. He previously worked for the Apollo Hospitals Group as a Senior Manager, and thereafter, served as a Regional Lab Advisor for the Clinton Foundation where he was responsible for executing countrywide programs (in India, Africa, Eastern Europe and SE Asia) aimed at providing technical support for establishing and scaling up programs for HIV / AIDS.
He currently heads the Global Health Initiative (GHI) for BD in India where he is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of service delivery strategies and identification of new project and business development opportunities toward accomplishment of company’s overall strategic goals in the area of infectious diseases. Through GHI, BD is concentrating its efforts on maximizing the benefits of its technologies and services in regions where the company has operations and where partnerships can have a major impact on the health of at-risk populations.
