Dr. Namita Jaggi has done her graduation and post graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi, excelling in her academic career with many awards and distinctions. She has over 15 years experience in the field of Microbiology and Infection control.

She has headed many reputed labs in Delhi and now works as the consultant Microbiologist and Head of Labs at Artemis Health Sciences in Gurgaon, which is a young corporate hospital. Here she has been involved with setting up infection control guidelines and protocols right from the commissioning stage. She has authored a number of publications, research papers and articles. She has also participated actively in conferences in India and abroad including the Hospital Infection Society of India and written a book on Microbiology – Theory for the Technologists.

Her key area of interest and passion is infection control and healthcare worker safety for which she is involved in setting up guidelines at a national level.
