Dr. Murali Chakravarthy is presently the Chief, anesthesia, Pain Relief & Critical Care, Wockhardt Hospitals, Bangalore, & Chairman , Infection Control Committee. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Mysore Medical College, University of Mysore, India. Thereafter, he received his MD in anaesthesia also from The University of Mysore. For the past 18 years, Dr. Chakravarthy has been working as the Chief of Anesthesiology, Critical Care and Pain Relief at Wockhardt Hospitals, Bangalore, India. He has held the post of Chairman at HICC for the past 11 years. Dr. M Chakravarthy’s previous professional appointments have been at the Department of Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care of Sri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology, Bangalore, India. He has also worked at the Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology where his primary clinical work involved Anesthesia in Oncology patients, Intensive Care in Oncology patients and Pain Clinic Management.

Dr Chakravarthy is a member of the Indian medical Association, Indian Society of Anesthesiologists, Member and Founder Member of Indian Association of Cardiac Anaesthesiologists, Member of Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons, Cardiological Society of India, Founder Member and Fellow of Indian College of Cardiology, Life member, founder and Vice President of the Forum of Cardiac Anesthesiologists, Bangalore, India.
