DR. ARATI VERMA
Chief - Medical Excellence Programs, Max Healthcare Ltd.


Dr. Arati Verma is working as Chief-Medical Excellence Programs, Max Healthcare, New Delhi since Aug 2004.

She heads Quality, Research and Training across the network of Max Hospitals. Her responsibilities include providing direction for delivery of Ethical and World Class Standards of Medical Care across Max Healthcare through standardized protocols, Quality Assurance, Accreditation and statutory compliances.

She is also responsible for organizing and implementing skill based training programs, formal education programs, and CMEs and provides oversight to Clinical trials through a Centre of Excellence. She has worked closely with Hamdard for implementing a new course ”BSc ETCT”

Prior to this, she was with a NHS Strategic Health Authority (UK) as Assistant Director of Quality. In her earlier assignments, Dr Verma has worked in several management and administrative roles gaining extensive experience in healthcare strategic and operational management. She has worked with Escorts Heart Institute, Batra Hospital, and has served in the Indian Army in the initial part of her professional career.

Dr. Verma is also on the panel of National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) as a Principal Assessor / Assessor. She has recently been chosen among “Top 20 women achievers” of the country by a magazine.

Dr. Arati Verma is a graduate of AFMC Pune, and has post graduate training in management.
